この講座は、教育、伝統、歴史、社会などのテーマから、トレンドの話題について日本と諸外国を比較していきます。 We will still discuss how Japan faces various issues or problems, compared to other cultures. We will choose our topics together as a class, and then your homework will be to read the short article I have found on that topic, and to tell the class your opinion or reaction. Each person will speak for a short time (3 minutes or so, or less), and then we will have more time for further free discussion, at the end of the class. In the past, our topics have been things like: the protection of World Heritage Sites, renewable energy, and changing gender roles.
